AI4Society Seminar: Diyi Yang
Recent advances in large language models (LLMs) have revolutionized how humans and AI systems work, learn and interact, creating new opportunities for collaboration while also raising new challenges. In this talk, we explore the evolving landscape of human–AI collaboration from three perspectives: teaming, teaching, and tailoring.

LIDS Seminar: Rodolphe Sepulchre
Regulation theory is grounded in the internal model principle, which states that exact regulation requires an exact internal model of the external signals to be regulated.

Autonomy Tea Talk: Dominic Maggio
Open-set 3D semantic mapping requires (i) determining the correct granularity to represent the scene (e.g., how should objects be defined), and (ii) fusing semantic knowledge across multiple 2D observations into an overall 3D reconstruction —ideally with a high-fidelity yet low-memory footprint.

LIDS Seminar Series: Kameshwar Poolla
Transportation network services such as ride hailing, food delivery, grocery delivery, and package delivery have transformed our lives. There are other services that have been proposed such as EV based services that benefit the electricity grid.

Robotics Worldwide Workshop
This event will feature lightning talks given by top robotics researchers from around the world, covering all areas of robotics. Lightning talks will be followed by a panel discussion about the future of robotics and a poster session with opportunities to meet and interact with the speakers.

MIT Robotics Seminar: Stefano Stramigioli
Robotics is the science of machines inter(acting) in our physical world, and yet, far to little attention is often given to sound methodologies able to understand the physics of such interactions and conceptual mistakes have been also even made in the litterature.

LIDS and Stats Tea Talk: Julie Zhu and Oliver Wang
Conformal prediction provides a powerful framework for constructing prediction intervals with finite-sample guarantees, yet its robustness under distribution shifts remains a significant challenge. This paper addresses this limitation by modeling distribution shifts using Lévy-Prokhorov (LP) ambiguity sets, which capture both local and global perturbations. We provide a self-contained overview of LP ambiguity sets and their connections to popular metrics such as Wasserstein and Total Variation.
